Big Fame gets his inspiration from both Western and non-Western rappers. Master P and his New Orleans-based No Limit posse are an influence; so are N.W.A., Dr. Dre, and the late Tupac Shakur. Famoso's more sexually explicit lyrics also owe something to Oakland native Too Short, who was never a gangsta rapper but did a lot to popularize X-rated rap lyrics.  After performing around San Diego southeast streets in the '90s, Big Fame signed with 925five Records in 2014 and started building a catalog in the late 2010s. His first album, Montana Montana Montana presents Big Fame, came out on a joint venture with 925five Records and Rap Bay / Urbanlife Distrubution  in 2015 After that, Big Fame signed an exclusive deal with 925five Records and EMPIRE Distrubution - for the EP, Big Fame 925 which came out in 2015. 925five Records released single "Wasabi Rasta" (a jamaican style track with a rigged flow) as Wasabi Sauce's first single. After having his track "Super Soaker" featured in the indie film Get You Some, he released Wasabi Sauce in 2016. A series of features on other artist albums carried the rapper into 2017 when his third project 925five-label release, Srircha Sauce, landed on EMPIRE. The album Famoso Sique A1 Sauce followed in 2017 and featured the singles "Super Soaker" with an official Video, plus "King S***" featuring Fina Baby
